About Odette

Hi, I'm Odette.

I have a Bachelor’s of Fine Art from Cornish College of the Arts, and I have been painting murals professionally since 2018,

My work features plants and animals native to the places I paint, and often reflects the communities that have traditionally lived there. I like to use my work to play with our expectations of animals and places: gorgeous flowers known for their terrible smell, or beautiful birds that are the fiercest predators.

I think it's important to look beyond our expectations of the people and beings around us to see who or what is really there. My work gives voice to that complexity and opens the door for all of us to redefine how we see each other a little bit.

When I'm not painting walls, I am gardening (and playing dinosaurs) with my son, or snuggling my cats.
